We’re climbing a BIG mountain for a BIG cause!

As we came into the year 2022, one of Triton Telecom’s biggest goals was to give back to the community. Many people, unfortunately, find themselves in difficult situations, so we wanted to take on some difficulty ourselves and climb one of the biggest mountains in the UK!

Support us as we take a break from telecoms to climb Mount Snowdon in September. Find out more about the great causes and why they’re doing it below.

Who are the charities you are supporting through this?

Free@last work to improve the lives of children and young people of Nechells, Birmingham through providing fun activities as well as resources to equip the next generation for change.

Edward’s Trust offers a holistic approach to supporting parents and young children through bereavement and loss. They offer counselling (1 to 1 or as a couple) support groups, play therapy, wellbeing therapies and social events.

Smile for Joel works to support families torn apart by murder and terrorism, raising awareness to safety abroad and the Prevent programme.

Who from Triton Telecom is taking part?

 Ryan Sherwin, Technical Support

Natalie Worledge, Marketing Executive

Dean Billington, Director

Here’s what each climber had to say:

Ryan: “Climbing this mountain is going to be BIG change from my usual technical support role and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit nervous. However, I’m proud to be supporting these charities and I’m training hard in the gym! Wish me luck!”

Natalie: “I’ve climbed Snowdon once before, but I’m so excited to do it again – this time for three great causes! Even though I know it’ll be tough, I want to help make a difference in the lives that these charities so effectively help. Please help support us!”

Dean: “We are very proud to be supporting these charities who help less fortunate people with their challenges, their ‘mountain to climb’, so Triton are Climbing one. Please help us help them by sponsoring us to climb Mount Snowdon on September the 9th.”

When is it happening?

Although our training has already started, we won’t embark on our journey until the 9th of September – that’s plenty of time to get your donations in!

How can you support us?

We have a GoFundMe fundraiser that’s live RIGHT NOW. Our goal is £500, but we’re hoping to smash that out of the park and really raise a massive amount for these charities!
